Disney 2011

WARNING...this is a CRAZY long post...but, trying to only pick a few pictures to show from a 7 day trip is too hard! Enjoy! :)

We have had a Disney trip planned since January...the only thing was, the kids had NO IDEA! I was a little nervous to be able to pull off the surprise...but we did it! We woke the girls up, had a special breakfast of Mickey Mouse pancakes and gave them a note saying....Guess What? We are going to DISNEYLAND!!

It was awesome...I don't really think the girls realized until they saw all the suitcases and we were loading into the van to head to the airport! Do you know how hard it is to pack for 5 people for a week with no one knowing?!? The girls are amazing travelers...I packed each of them a backpack of new colorbooks, treats, etc...but they were the happiest with their ipods, hello kitty headphones and the new stuff I had loaded on their ipods!
Kaden had no idea what was going on and often had this dazed and confused expression. :)
See....totally content!!
Ahhhh....we MADE IT!!
This picture is out of order...but I can't change it for the life of me, so just deal. ok?! This is from Nemo's submarine voyage. As soon as the gates open, we hurried over cause the line for this one gets NUTS. And it paid off...we walked right on, no wait time! The kiddos loved it...especially Kaden when he saw all the bubbles out the submarine windows!
Family photo in front of Disney. We had my sis-in-law, Christie come with us, and I am SO glad we did. It was kind of an early graduation gift from us...and she was the BEST help!
The girls all decked out...Minnie Mouse style.
Bubba and mom...see, dazed and confused!!! You will see much more of that from him!
Kaden LOVES Buzz...I mean LOVES. Everytime we saw him, no matter if it was a balloon, a shirt, the actual Buzz, or toys in the gift shops, Kaden would FREAK out. It was pretty cute. This was his favorite ride...Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters!
Waiting in the short line for Small World...really, we couldn't have planned any better, we hardly waited in lines at all!! The girls didn't love looking into the sun for a picture! HA!
I had made these bows when we went to Disney World a few years ago and they were excited to wear them again!
Brooklyn and mom on her favorite ride... It's a Small World...cute girl was just fascinated by it and would sing the song the WHOLE RIDE.
HA...funniest picture ever...Dazed and Confused x2!! :) Like father, like son!

Mom and Bubba waiting for the others!

Another funniest picture moment...this is Boo, Kylee and Christie on Snow White's Scariest Adventure. Kylee is covering Boo's ears and Brooklyn's face is PRICELESS! Don't judge the girls hair...right after this ride we had an appointment for a princess makeover! :)
My sweet mom wanted to do something for the girls while we were here, and she had heard about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique from a friend. So we made the appointments and the girls were able to be transformed into princesses, complete with hairstyles, glittery makeup, fairy dust, backpack and princess sash.
I let them totally pick what they wanted to do, and go figure, Kylee chose Punk Princess!
Dad and Kaden...not totally diggin' all this girly stuff! :)

Brooklyn, true to form, chose to not be so happy during parts of her makeover..I don't know if it was all the attention, all the craziness (there was like 10 different makeover stations all busy) or what...but it was pretty funny watching her go from this....
to this....totally happy and lovin' being a princess!
This picture totally explains my kids' personality! :)
Kylee's was a little too crazy, even for her, so she had me fix the color hair into a bun and she liked it much better! :)
PRINCESS HEAVEN!!
Kaden and his mouse ears...which he only wore for this picture.
Love this picture...Kylee, for some random reason, was totally freaked out by the Jungle Cruise...something about the water. So the whole ride she was freakin' out by every little thing, and Brooklyn and I couldn't help but laugh a little...behind her back, of course!

At the Rainforest Cafe...Kaden LOVED this place. We sat right by a gorilla who "came to life" every 20 minutes and Kaden would go crazy...my little Tarzan! :)

Another out of place picture...but love the Mickey's Orchestra Swings!

My sweet friend, Tina, who we figured out that we hadn't seen each other for 6 years lives close enough to where she offered to drive and see us! My girls had so much fun with her little girl...and it was so nice to sit and visit with her and catch up. She is going to be having her 5th baby...CRAZY LADY!! HA! :) But..she makes cute, sweet kids, so it works!
Love ya Tina!!
Dad and Bubba on the best ride ever...Toy Story Mania. Kaden loved that he always got 3D glasses. He kept them on the whole time, whenever we had to wear them!

Ok...Kylee is CRAZY. We all know that. :) This girl rode Tower of Terror TWICE and the HUGE roller-coaster, California Screamin' TWICE. (And yet, the jungle cruise freaked her out?!?!) It's a good thing she likes those rides, cause I am a baby and won't EVER go on them, so now Drew FINALLY has someone to ride with!
We had such an amazing trip and I am so grateful for a sweet husband who works like crazy so we can enjoy family vacations and create such wonderful memories! Can't wait for the next one!!

What is up skinny "minnie"? Your body is rockin' girlfriend! I only hope that I can look that good after 3babies! That's so neat that you got to see Tina. How fun! She is so cute pregnant. Great pictures! Thanks for sharing! I can't wait til my kids are old enough to take this trip one day. I love the princess makeovers. What a great idea!

How fun! I love that your girls always match. I need to learn how to do cute hair dos like yours. Right now Emma is super picky about her hair. I loved all the pics and am glad that you guys had so much fun. How did you do the princess make over thing? That would be totally awesome.
