Finally...here are the Disney pics from our awesome Christmas Trip!! We flew out Christmas morning...best time EVER to fly...no waiting! :)

I LOVE this picture...this was the 1st ride we went on the first day there...Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. I'm sorry...but LOOK at Kaden's face!!! He had just seen Buzz and was SO HAPPY!!

These next pictures made my WHOLE trip worth it. Kaden is OBSESSED with Toy Story. I'm not kidding. It's a little over the top. I wasn't too sure how he would take the whole, bigger than life, real characters. But...the kid did NOT disappoint. He RAN over to Woody, starts dancing with him....

gives him the BIGGEST hug....oh man. I'm not gonna lie...it brought tears to my eyes!!

And if that wasn't enough...Buzz was next. Kaden was a PRO by this time....again ran right over and LEAPED into Buzz's arms. So dang awesome!!

We were super lucky when we checked into our hotel...we were early, so our room wasn't quite ready...so they UPGRADED us for FREE to the kids suite. Complete with a seperate room and BUNK BEDS for the kiddos. They were in heaven. It was so fun!!

Winter Break Pt. 1

Yes....I do realize that I am quite behind in posting these.

You are just lucky you are getting them at all. HA!

This year we went down to my parents house for Christmas. And we had a blast. Christmas Eve was so awesome, we had us, my mom and dad, my little brother, my aunt and uncle and my grandma and grandpa. It was so fun to be with so much family. Oh how I love the holidays.

But...I am horrible at picture taking.

I have a few....but not nearly as many as I would like. Ugh.

Brooklyn and Kylee entertained us with their song and dance. They sang the 12 days of Christmas...and this is their ending pose. They are supposed to be a partridge in a pear tree. HA!

Opened a few presents....like the big ol' goose egg on Brooklyn's head? Just wait till Christmas morning pictures...Kylee will have one on her eye to match. Poor girls!!

Kaden totally understood the whole opening presents deal. As soon as he realized actual toys were under the paper....he started opening EVERYTHING! This boy does not mess around!!

Halloween Day...we love getting pumpkin shaped pizzas for dinner...YUM!! And we had visitors this year! G&G Mabry flew over for a few days of fun! :)

Aww....when did my 3 kiddos get SO big?!?! Oh man...I just LOVE them to pieces. They were all so excited to go trick-or-treating, they even let me get a super cute picture!

We don't mess around when we trick or treat either. We have made it a tradition that we get together with our awesome friends, the Samuelson's....we load up in the back of their truck and hit the neighborhood. It is amazing how much faster it goes when you don't have to walk the whole way!! HA!

I am SO, SO, SO excited that FOOTBALL IS BACK!! :) It was a rough summer with all that lockout crap.

Tonight is Monday Night Football. Featuring who else?!

MY DENVER BRONCOS BABY!!

We are playing the Raiders. BOO. HATE the Raiders.

Last year for me and the Broncos was rough.

(HA....I talk like I'm apart of the team...oh wait, I TOTALLY AM!! HA!)

It was NOT a great season...at all. But...no matter what, I am ALWAYS a fan and can't wait for this new season. I am hoping and praying that we do better than we did last year (really, how hard could that be?!). I'm not saying we are winning the Super Bowl or anything here folks....cause let's be honest, I think that is a LONG way off with this team. New coach, QB controversy, new 4-3 defense, super short pre-season...lots of new stuff to get into.

Anyways...I could talk about football all night long. But..I do have lots of pictures...from a truly AWESOME experience from the summer. Thanks to an amazing husband who planned a great long weekend for us in Denver, and a mom who was willing to come to Boise and watch our kiddos...Drew and I were able to spend 4 days together in Denver in August. It was so nice! Hotel, room service, eating out, movies, shopping, NO CLEANING!! A dream! AND we also got to go to Denver Broncos training camp. Oh man..I was in HEAVEN!!

I was seriously like a kid on Christmas morning!

We tried to get one of the workers get a picture of all 4 of us...but there was this dumb white line that you weren't supposed to cross, and the guy was being a jerk and wouldn't take it for us...so Brooke and I were sneaky...she took one of the three of us (me, Drew and Daryl) then I took one of the three of them...I still need to get her picture!!

Now after being able to go to a practice....I'm ready for a REAL GAME...BABE?!?! :)

1st Day of School...Pt. 2!

Today was Brooklyn's first day of school!! I can't believe she is in Kindergarten!! CRAZY. We moved to Boise when she was just 2 weeks old...then moved to Nampa when she was 10 months! And now she is 5!! How fast time flies! We had a few moments this morning when she wasn't quite sure about school...her clothes didn't feel right, her shoes were too loose, her leggings were itchy, her hair was in her face, she just wanted to wear flip-flops....anything she could think of that could go wrong, did. BUT...we made it through and by breakfast she was excited and ready to go!!

1st day of school...part 1

It is school time again!! I can't believe that summer is OVER. :( Sad!! We had a great summer and I was getting quite used to sleeping in, going to the pool, hanging out with friends, and going to bed late! Well that has changed now! It's back to reality with early mornings and kiddos at school! We went yesterday to the school's "Meet the Teacher." It was super fun and I had two SUPER excited girls! I can't believe I have TWO kids in school. WEIRD.

Locks of Love....

We have been debating FOREVER about what to do with the girls' hair. They both have such long hair, which we love! But Kylee was really wanting a hair cut. I totally procrastinated all summer about cutting it....I just couldn't bring myself to do it! But this girl was persistent. She would NOT let me forget about it. We had mentioned to Kylee about the program "Locks of Love". You can donate hair to go towards making wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to any medical issues. You have to have 10 inches in a ponytail to donate. Kylee was SUPER excited to be able to donate her hair, so she was willing to wait a few more weeks to let it grow a bit more. So today was the day....

We have been LOVING summer....the hot weather leads us to the pool at least once a week! It is the best pool...cheap & fun..sign us up! And we love it when all our friends meet us there too.

Oh...and these pictures are all out of order...but I guess there has been a new update on blogger that I didn't know about (THANK YOU TINA!!!) and I really didn't want to wait for them to upload again. :)

Kaden is quite crazy at the pool, so I am mean and only let hjm play like half the time, then I need a break, so he gets a rest in the stroller with LOTS of snacks! He doesn't seem to mind it too bad. :)

West Yellowstone

We were able to go to West Yellowstone for a few days after being in UT. It was SO much fun and I can't believe we have waited this long to go! I loved it growing up and it was fun to see my kids enjoy it as well! My parents were nice enough to book their timeshare for all of us to stay and it was AWESOME. Of course, we HAD to go swimming. My kids are FISH I tell you!! :)

One day we walked across the street to the wolf and bear discovery center. It was so much fun! They have a bunch of HUGE bears and a couple packs of wolves. It was so much fun watching the bears. The girls were also given the chance to help feed the bears. The get to go into the bears habitat...bears are totally secure, somewhere else. HA! Anyways...the kids get a chance to hide food wherever they want, and then once all the kiddos are out, they let the bears out and its fun watching them try to find all the food! You will notice in the pictures that Brooklyn is not too happy about it...so she didn't end up doing it. Go figure. But, she DID give Kylee her jacket, since it was starting to rain...that is why my Kylee's jacket is 2 sizes too small in these pics!!
Also at the discovery center, they had an indoor exhibit all about different animals. The kids had fun going through this with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Susan and Uncle Louie. They also had a playground outside that they were able to play on for a bit!

I love just walking the streets of West Yellowstone. So many fun shops and stuff to see. Of course, my family goes straight for the candy store! HA! We had fun sitting on the bench enjoying our sweets! :) Kaden LOVED the bear hat...he thought he was so funny, making growling noises with it on!Anybody ever heard of "planking"?? Well...you find random spots, lay face down, and take a picture. Sounds AWESOME right?!?! :) Well...we had a little fun planking in West Yellowstone! Notice the animals behind my brother in the top row!! And the girls and I's TRIPLE stack plank!! :) Of course, we went to see Old Faithful. The girls thought it was pretty cool...and I have to admit, I enjoyed it as well!! The melting pots or hot pots, or whatever they are called are pretty cool as well!!

I am so grateful we had the chance to go somewhere together as a family and create fun memories with the kiddos. What a fun vacation and I can't wait for more!!!

Does anybody else hate posting pictures to blogger?? It is driving me a little nuts....it takes FOREVER. Anyways...that is off the subject of this post. :)

When we were in Colorado in June, we were able to get the whole family together for pictures. That hasn't happened since Kylee was 18 months.....and she is 7!!! I'd say it was about time for some new ones. It was quite interesting with 6 kiddos ages 8-16 months. Especially the 16 month old. Who happens to be mine. Awesome. But....they turned out super cute and it was lots of fun!

LOVE this one...get 4 girls ages 5, almost 6, 7 and 8 together and what do they do?? POSE, POSE, POSE!!! :)

4th of July

I love 4th of July....growing up it was always a huge holiday for our family. It would always start off with the IF Parade (during high school I was always in it...and it was ALWAYS HOT!) Then it was off to a picnic with all my family, then down to the river to get the best fireworks spot and we would sit and talk and eat good food and people watch...then finally, the BEST fireworks EVER. Seriously, the Idaho Falls fireworks are the best I have ever seen! Since Drew and I have been married and had the kiddos...we have been lucky to make it back to IF quite a few times to enjoy the festivities, visit with family and enjoy the 4th of July celebrations. This year we didn't make it over...but decided to kinda do a last minute trip down to UT to visit with my parents. We still had a great 4th....good food, lots of fun and of course, fireworks!! We started the day by going to breakfast...yum! Then we headed over to play a round of miniature golf...it was not too hot, and ended up being super fun!!

Kaden thought he was pretty cool...holding the ball and club, hanging out with dad...until I put him on lockdown in the stroller!! HA!! :)

While we were waiting to mini-golf, Kylee wanted to go hit in the batting cages, so Drew got her ready and in she went...she LOVED it! She did great at it too...even hit some without dad's help!! She loved it so much she did it again after we were finished golfing.

Kaden was not so happy with me when I locked him up in his stroller...but holding that dang Dora sippy cup seemed to help. I am SO over Dora! UGH!

My turn golfing....I was AMAZING. Ok...not really....I was HORRIBLE! I was totally off! Drew's turn....love the concentration, AND the Toy Story sippy cup in his cargo shorts! HA!Go Kylee!!!

Brooklyn's turn...I think she even beat me...yeah, that is how awesome I was that day!

Kylee's 2nd turn in the cages...I think we have a future baseball player! :) After golfing, we came home and barbecued and then got ready to do some fireworks out in the street. My brother's girlfriend was able to get us some awesome fireworks from WY and it was so fun! It was no IF fireworks...but fun nonetheless, and we didn't have to fight all the people!! :) My mom's neighbors have 3 kids that my girls play with all the time when we come visit. They all have so much fun together! We attempted some pictures...at first with all the kiddos, then just mine....talk about crazy!

Crazy boy Kaden is at such a BUSY age...holy smokes he is nuts! He is ALL boy and into everything. He does not sit in one spot for very long, so I was actually pretty happy with the few pictures we got.

My girls on the other hand are PRO picture takers. ;) My little brother brought his long board over and Kylee wanted to ride on it with him...they went pretty far, it looked pretty fun! Then she wanted to try it herself...go figure! She did GREAT! My mom will hate me for posting this, but it was too funny not too! She thought she was being pretty smart doing it on the grass!!! Uncle Steve and Kylee were making sure all the fireworks were set up and ready! This little girl was a little pyro....Brooklyn was LOVIN' the sparklers and kept going back for more...always had to have 2...and then kept asking for more and more and when are we doing the big ones?!? All the other kids were playing on the grass...and my little pyro girl was sitting on the curb, watching some of the fireworks!

I thought this picture was kinda cool...the kids all lined up (on their own!) tallest to shortest, and it worked out pretty good with their cute 4th of July outfits!!

Holy moly....it seems just yesterday I was a scared, first time mom, giving this sweet little girl her first bath when we got home from the hospital...then all of the sudden, BAM...she is SEVEN!!! Happy Birthday Kylee...we love you so much and are so thankful you are in our family. You are an amazing girl...so sweet, kind, thoughtful, smart, beautiful...we are blessed to have you as our daughter and you are a wonderful big sister to Brooklyn and Kaden!

As usual, birthdays aren't just one day around here...they last a whole week! We went to Olive Garden for dinner, no pictures for that one! Dad took her to IHOP for a birthday breakfast, again, no pics...and of course we had presents and parties!! Opening some of her family presents....she also got a new bike!!

Memorial Day Weekend

What a fun weekend we had!! We were able to head over to S.E. Idaho to my aunt and uncle's amazing cabin. There was a bunch of us there and we had so much fun! Especially all the kiddos! My sweet aunt always goes above and beyond to ensure a good time is had by all. She organized a treasure hunt with all the kids! They had so much fun finding and reading all the clues and finally finding the AWESOME treasure chest!

It was filled with gold (chocolate) coins, light up toys, candy, bracelets, and more!! These kids scored! :)

Have I mentioned before how naughty Kaden is?!? Well...this kid is T-R-O-U-B-L-E. He is so busy, always moving and into EVERYTHING. He is all boy for sure! It sure is a good thing he is cute! HA! He loved the swings so much!

My aunt and uncle stock their lake with fish....and they let some of the kiddos try and catch some. Kylee caught one super fast...and it was HUGE!!!

Look at her face...she was SO excited!! But...not excited enough to actually hold the fish and let me get a picture of her with it...so, here it is after it was gutted and wrapped up to freeze!

I think they were trying to release the fish back in in this picture....but, sad to say, after they put the fish back in...the catching of it cause too much trauma and the fish did not survive. :(

My uncle is a plastic surgeon and my cousin had wanted to learn how to do a basic stitch for emergency preparedness...so my uncle taught everyone how and then had them practice on PIG'S FEET. Sick. No way was I getting close to touching something like that...but of course, my husband wanted too...

My other cousin's little girl, Kaylee and Brooklyn playing on the dock. It was such a wonderful weekend of reconnecting with family, enjoying the weather (well, on Saturday anyways) and eating way too much delish food!! Thanks to EVERYONE for making it such a great weekend!! We love you guys! We also went over to my G/G Fillmore's house and was able to spend some time with them. I didn't grab the camera until the time we were leaving, but I was able to take a few pictures. Any of my cousins will know the importance of this room at Grandma's house. When we were younger...NOBODY went in this room...unless it was for pictures or someone's graduation or something special. It has white carpet, white couches and all her breakables. It is a drop down living room and as I have stated earlier, Kaden LOVES stairs. So he saw these two stairs, just his size and went for it. He went straight over to the spinning globe...saying "ball, ball, ball" the whole time. Good thing I was watching him the whole time or he would have got into MAJOR trouble from grandma!! :)

I thought this picture was funny...I wanted a picture of Kaden with my grandpa and we took like 5, and of course, not one of them have both of them looking at the same time, or Kaden was wrestling to get down....but it was still fun trying! :)

It is always nice to get to spend time with family! Even if it isn't for very long, we love what we can get!

Tonight was preschool graduation for Brooklyn...WHAT?!? Where in the world did the time go?? I say that all the time...but, really this year has FLOWN by. She was so excited to go to her program...almost TOO excited, cause she was kinda bouncing off the walls. :)

Kaden was not so happy that Brooklyn was getting all the pictures...so he wanted one with dad!!
My amazing friend Raquel was Boo's preschool teacher....and Kylee's too. :) What a lucky girl Brooklyn is to have had such a WONDERFUL teacher who cared so much, taught so well, and has started Brooklyn out with such a positive attitude towards school and learning. Brooklyn and Keely are best of friends and have so much fun together!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...

Ever since Disneyland, Kaden has been OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse. Books, toys, pictures, anything...but he is the MOST obsessed with watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on tv. It is so dang funny when it comes on, he can barely contain himself! He freaks out..gets his arms and legs and whole body into the dance...and then all the sudden he stops...if he is in the living room, he just stops...and sits down and gets ready to watch...or if he is in his carseat, he just freezes and goes into a Mickey Mouse trance.

Homemade Pizza....yes please!!

The hubby has wanted to make homemade pizzas with the girls FOREVER. So...yesterday we finally did. And please excuse my grainy pictures...the girls messed with the settings on my camera and I don't know how to fix it! I like to cook and bake...but have never really tried anything with making my own dough...I usually just buy everything store made....well, my friends, I have conquered dough making!! Really...I don't know why I have never tried it...it was SUPER easy and tasted SO much better! We also made homemade pizza sauce...oh yum. It was DELISH. The girls LOVED this...they loved shaping their own crust, picking out what they wanted on their pizzas, and of course, eating it!

This girl is the BIGGEST poser when the camera comes out....always tilting the head, hands on hips...so funny! I got a new cookbook for mother's day and in it was a how to cook pizzas on the grill. SOLD! Drew had just gotten a new grill, so we knew that was what we wanted to try! Yes...I was a little hesitant...all I could see was dough falling through his brand new grill and making a big huge mess, but it turned out great!

PHEW!! It's been a crazy week...lots of fun stuff going on! Here is our week in review!

Drew got some amazing tickets to an Idaho Steelheads hockey game and he took the girls on a daddy/daughter date! Just getting ready to leave...the girls were SO excited to spend time with dad!

At the game...they had a suite and Kylee was so excited cause the food was self-serve...she loaded up on hot dogs, sandwiches, popcorn, chips and soda! Drew said she was in heaven! :)

I was able to go spend a day in Brooklyn's preschool and had so much fun! It is fun to see your child in a different setting especially one as fun as her preschool!! Here is her whole class... They had an easter egg hunt at school and Brooklyn was all smiles, all day! Check out her bucket of eggs! She scored!

On Saturday we spent the day cleaning the garage....and we pulled out the car for Kaden and he LOVED it! Couldn't get him out of it...I see many more days in this for him!

This kid is so crazy...so for a bit of a breather for mom while I cleaned up...we put him on the trampoline, zipped it up and it made the perfect play pen for him!! :) HA! His favorite thing to do...climb on things he is not supposed to!Finding easter eggs with mom! Is it me or is this kid HUGE?!?! :)

Buh-bye Hair!!

Kaden's hair has been quite the talking point at our house lately...I have made it known for quite some time that I have wanted it cut. But, Drew wanted to keep it growing...for whatever reason. :) We have had quite a few hairstyles with this little guy. I have been working and working on getting him a haircut, and I told Drew a few times that he is just going to come home from a business trip and the hair will be gone. HA!! :) I never did, but it funny how things work themselves out....

Kid could pull a SWEET tub mohawk!! This picture was what really got the go-ahead for the haircut. I was a little bored one day, and Kaden was a little out of control, so I plopped him in the bathroom sink and gave him 4 cute little ponytails, there is one in the back, 2 on the sides and one on top. AWESOME! I took a picture and sent it to Drew, who replied back...NOT FUNNY!! :) This was later in the afternoon, after I had been in a store and the girl working there called Kaden a her....seriously, it was TIME for the haircut! Saturday dad was in town, so off we went to the salon. I was a little nervous, Kaden does not love to sit still...for anything. I kept thinking, she is going to cut half of his hair and then he is going to freak out and it will look worse than it did!!

But....he did AMAZING! :) He sat in the big chair all by himself and let Nikki go to work!

Drew HAD to get a picture of his little rat tail before she cut it off...he thought it was pretty funny and kept saying, "we HAVE to keep it, the haircut is over!" YEAH RIGHT!

Kaden even let her trim his neckline up so good, I was seriously wondering whose kid this really was! :)

Almost done! He alternated between a sucker and his binki throughout the haircut..both of which were hair-covered and sticky by the time the haircut was done!

Brooklyn is FIVE!!!

My sweet little Brooklyn turned FIVE yesterday! WHAT?!? Where in the world has time gone? It seems just like yesterday she was born...I know everyone says that, but it's true. My parents were able to drive up from UT and we partied all week! We went to Red Robin Monday night for her birthday dinner, and as you can tell.....

she was SO excited...she LoVeS Red Robin! She loves it when they give her the balloons and when they sing to her!

We came back to the house and opened family presents. She is one lucky little girl. She got spoiled! She got lots of super cute clothes from G/G Fillmore and Aunt Susan, books from Kylee and more!!

Cute sisters...these two are as different as night and day, but really are best of friends and love each other so much. (MOST of the time...HA!)

She got this cute "flip-over doll" from G/G Mabry, when you flip her upside-down, she turns into Sleeping Beauty. She LOVES it!

Disney 2011

WARNING...this is a CRAZY long post...but, trying to only pick a few pictures to show from a 7 day trip is too hard! Enjoy! :)

We have had a Disney trip planned since January...the only thing was, the kids had NO IDEA! I was a little nervous to be able to pull off the surprise...but we did it! We woke the girls up, had a special breakfast of Mickey Mouse pancakes and gave them a note saying....Guess What? We are going to DISNEYLAND!!

It was awesome...I don't really think the girls realized until they saw all the suitcases and we were loading into the van to head to the airport! Do you know how hard it is to pack for 5 people for a week with no one knowing?!? The girls are amazing travelers...I packed each of them a backpack of new colorbooks, treats, etc...but they were the happiest with their ipods, hello kitty headphones and the new stuff I had loaded on their ipods!

Kaden had no idea what was going on and often had this dazed and confused expression. :)

See....totally content!!

Ahhhh....we MADE IT!!

This picture is out of order...but I can't change it for the life of me, so just deal. ok?! This is from Nemo's submarine voyage. As soon as the gates open, we hurried over cause the line for this one gets NUTS. And it paid off...we walked right on, no wait time! The kiddos loved it...especially Kaden when he saw all the bubbles out the submarine windows!

Another funniest picture moment...this is Boo, Kylee and Christie on Snow White's Scariest Adventure. Kylee is covering Boo's ears and Brooklyn's face is PRICELESS! Don't judge the girls hair...right after this ride we had an appointment for a princess makeover! :)

My sweet mom wanted to do something for the girls while we were here, and she had heard about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique from a friend. So we made the appointments and the girls were able to be transformed into princesses, complete with hairstyles, glittery makeup, fairy dust, backpack and princess sash.

I let them totally pick what they wanted to do, and go figure, Kylee chose Punk Princess!

Brooklyn, true to form, chose to not be so happy during parts of her makeover..I don't know if it was all the attention, all the craziness (there was like 10 different makeover stations all busy) or what...but it was pretty funny watching her go from this....

At the Rainforest Cafe...Kaden LOVED this place. We sat right by a gorilla who "came to life" every 20 minutes and Kaden would go crazy...my little Tarzan! :)

HA! :) But..she makes cute, sweet kids, so it works!

Dad and Bubba on the best ride ever...Toy Story Mania. Kaden loved that he always got 3D glasses. He kept them on the whole time, whenever we had to wear them!

Ok...Kylee is CRAZY. We all know that. :) This girl rode Tower of Terror TWICE and the HUGE roller-coaster, California Screamin' TWICE. (And yet, the jungle cruise freaked her out?!?!) It's a good thing she likes those rides, cause I am a baby and won't EVER go on them, so now Drew FINALLY has someone to ride with!

We had such an amazing trip and I am so grateful for a sweet husband who works like crazy so we can enjoy family vacations and create such wonderful memories! Can't wait for the next one!!

I am TIRED of winter. I want it GONE. All of it...the snowy days, the rainy days, the windy days, the SICKNESS, oh the sickness REALLY needs to go away, the gray gloomy days. I am done. GOODBYE. PLEASE!!!

What have we been up to you ask?? A whole lotta NOTHING. We did go to Utah in February...and I maybe took 10 pictures. Awesome picture taker for posterity I am. ;)

So...for no other reason than to say I blogged in March...here are some pictures.

So we have been celebrating Valentine's Day since last Thursday! Why is it that holiday's are no longer only one day?!?! Sheesh! But...we have had fun, and I love that the littlest things make the girls excited. Brooklyn had her preschool valentine's party on Thursday and after school, her cute friend Lauren came over for a playdate. They had a valentine's lunch, complete with heart shaped toast and fun heart glasses!
Then on Saturday, we woke the girls up with a Valentine's breakfast...pink heart pancakes, new pillow pet pee-wee's, some new hello kitty headphones and chocolate of course!

Sleepy-eyed girls! HA!

Then today, Kylee had her Valentine's party at school. 1st graders....cupcakes...cookies...candy. CRAZINESS!!!

I was watching my friend's little girl, Elsie so she got to come with us too...isn't she cute?! :) Kylee just loves her.

And.....we're off!! Kaden has been deciding if he wants to walk for about a month or so. He started by taking a few steps from me to Drew...cruising the furniture....etc. He could totally do it...but just preferred speed-crawling every where instead. (This kid is FAST!) Well the last few days he has gotten to where he is walking more and more. I love their first little drunken-man walking steps!!! Here are a few pictures of the little guy in action, and then there is video at the bottom!

We had a much needed girls night out the other night...we went to Cheesecake Factory (um...avocado egg rolls anyone?! YUM!) and then bowling. It was so much fun! What great friends I have!!

Here is the "Pro" table. Yeah...we pretty much rocked it! We were totally into it...Jenn bowled THREE strikes in a row, and came in first, and I bowled a few strikes as well, and came in 2nd...LOVE it! :) Here is the "Amateur" Table...well, except for Shelly, she was misplaced and definitely needed to be on the "Pro" table! This table was all about the conversation and fun!! :) HA!! I need that picture of Kim and Lisa's intense and wildly animated conversation! I thought this picture was awesome!! This is Jenn, after her 3rd strike in a row!

And me...not quite as fun, but still, gotta love bowling some strikes!!

his sisters! Whenever they are upstairs and he isn't, he stands at the bottom of the stairs and screams for them...he just LOVES playing with them.
balls! Basketball, football, baseball, soccer, doesn't matter what kind, he loves them all! This kid is ALL BOY!
to shut doors. Whenever there is a door open in the house, he crawls right over to it and shuts it, usually shutting himself into some room and then gets upset cause he is locked in!! :)
Toy Story. It is the only thing that keeps him (semi) occupied in the car. He has buzz and woody sippy cups and blankets and thinks they are all pretty funny.
BATH TIME! Holy smokes, this little boy loves to play in the water...as soon as he hears the water start, he goes right into the bathroom and tries to dive on in.
SCREECHING....oh man, this kid is LOUD. I do not love his form of communication at the moment, especially in the car...sheesh!
walking...he is getting the hang of it, walks a few steps, then gets lazy and drops to the ground and crawls as fast as he can to whatever he wants. This kid is the fastest crawler I've seen!
FOOD....doesn't matter what it is, he loves it. Some of his favorites: oatmeal, celery, string cheese, yogurt, grilled cheese sandwiches, rolls/bread, apples, olives, cucumbers.
his sippy cup. Oh man the kid goes crazy for it, water or milk, doesn't matter...he LOVES his cup!
hats....but not his own, just his dad's or mine or his uncle's...anybody that has a hat, he loves to take it off of them and put it on his head!
his bed. Kaden is the BEST sleeper. He loves going down for his naps (still takes 2 LONG ones...and goes to bed at 7!) He loves his crib and his blankets and that makes mom SO happy. ;)

Kaden HATES:

His carseat...he is getting better, but the poor kid hates being strapped in and will let us know it the WHOLE time. Ugh....anybody have any good tricks to get him to love it?!?
getting his fingernails clipped...he just squirms and tries to get down....he just loves to be on the go and hates being tied down!
sitting still...especially in church. Awesome.
when his dad leaves the room, or puts him down...he has to be wherever his dad is!

Not too many hates for this little guy...he is so easy going and happy and we are just having so much fun with him!! Happy Birthday Bubba! WE LOVE YOU!

So...I am a horrible blogger. We have been having so much fun, and I haven't taken the time for blogging and so when I DO decide to sit down and do a post...I have so many pictures that it turns into CRAZY LONG POST!!! So...bear with me, this is one of those CRAZY LONG POSTS! :) I was very nervous about putting Christmas up with an almost one-year old and it getting totally destroyed...BUT, to my surprise, we made it through the holiday season with no decoration fatalities. :) WHOO-HOO!! We have the Little People Nativity set, and set that up within reach of Kaden, and it kept him totally occupied and away from my other decorations.

He loved going right over to the sofa table, literally crawling right on top and bulldozing the nativity set. It was pretty funny.
Kaden, of course, thought he was HILARIOUS!

We had our ward Christmas party...the girls were super excited to wear their new party outfits, and of course, go up and sing some carols.

And Kaden was very excited to eat....rolls, rolls and more rolls!

Christmas eve consisted of yummy food, Wii Disney Karaoke, and of course, setting out cookies and a letter for Santa.

Kaden was NOT so sure of what was going on...and didn't really like being woken up so early!

Brooklyn was a master present opener....she was SO fast and had them open within seconds.

She was SO excited to see that Santa had brought her and Kylee guitars!

After getting used to all the craziness, Kaden was SO funny, he loved all his toys. Especially the Toy Story ride on toy! He loves Buzz!

Dad was just excited that out of all the toys, he only had to put together the Barbie scooters...he HATES putting toys together! :) Well, the Sunday before Christmas, we were all sick. Boo. So we took some Christmas Sunday pictures the Sunday AFTER Christmas.

Grandma and Brooklyn...we were so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa here with us for Christmas...even if it was only for a couple days, we love having them here!

Grandpa and Kaden....who was NOT having anything to do with pictures. FUN. :)

See what I mean?!! We tried so hard to get one of all 3 of them...but, with an 11-month old, this is what you get!

So, I haven't been much for blogging lately....we have been so busy! :) Kylee has been doing basketball since the middle of October with games every Saturday morning and practice every Tuesday night. She LOVED it!!! She was the ONLY girl on the team, and most times the only girl on BOTH teams, but she has had so much fun playing and really made a huge improvement from the beginning of the season. Drew and I were able to coach the team, which was kinda crazy, but super fun!

I love this picture...Drew did such a good job with the kids. He really helped alot of them, and the difference in the kids from the first game to last was incredible! They loved playing together as a team and were actually pretty good!

Now this little girl cracks me up on a daily basis. She is so funny lately. She is growing up and I don't know if I can handle it!! Ever since we took her first day of school pictures, whenever she has preschool, she makes me take her picture, in the same spot and the same poses. Doesn't she look so grown-up?!?

And then there is this little guy. Oh man is he fun. Absolutely crazy, but definitely fun! This was on the car ride home from Thanksgiving in IF. He HATES his car seat. HATES. IT. BAD. There is screaming and throwing things and crying and kicking. And it is a 5 hour drive. Fantastic.

This football helped. For 5 minutes. Maybe 6. Notice his big bruise on his forehead? Yeah...I have a feeling we have MANY more of these to come.

I don't know why I am so horrible at taking pictures. We were in IF with my fam for Thanksgiving, we had the craft fair, stayed at a hotel for a few days, stayed up at my aunt's cabin, and as you can see, not one picture. I am so mad at myself. But...it was EXTREMELY fun, playing and seeing everybody. And the blizzards were pretty fun too. From the inside looking out. :)

When we got home from IF, me and Christie (my cute sis-in-law) hit up Target for some AWESOME black friday shopping, at 2:45 in the morning. PHEW! That's early! But it was fun! Then the weekend consisted of crazy kids!! Kylee and Brooklyn thought it would be fun to sit in Kaden's high chair. And then I put the tray on and they couldn't get out...then I thought it was pretty funny.

My kiddos have got a pretty amazing aunt! Whenever she is here with us, they always have so much fun and she is a HUGE help to me!!! The Sunday before she left they put together a gingerbread house!It turned out super cute and they had a blast doing it...and a definite sugar rush too!

We also put up our Christmas decorations...Christie and Drew putting up the tree, and the girls a posin' away!

Totally took the picture looking into the windows, but here is Christie and Drew "fluffing" out the tree!

Every year Drew has been able to hold both the girls and let them put the star on together....well, this year was a little harder!

So we enlisted some help from Uncle Kyle and made it work!!

When Drew and Kyle were up on the roof putting the lights up, and Christie and I were cleaning up, the girls enjoyed some quiet time by the tree, reading some of our Christmas stories. LOVE this picture!

I am so thankful for this time of year, I LOVE the holidays!! Hope everyone is doing great and having a perfectly wonderful Christmas Season!!!

So....FINALLY got our family pictures taken. Our last family pic was when Brooklyn was about 8 months old....YEAH, totally time for some new ones! We had them taken in my mom and dad's backyard in October...isn't their yard gorgeous?!

Boise State Broncos!

So finally, after living here for almost 4 years, I got to go to a BSU game!! And it was AmAzInG!! Drew took some of his employees, along with the CEO and some corporate buyers on a team building event, and I was lucky enough to tag along with them! I have been looking forward to this for so long! Here we are getting all painted up ready to walk over to lunch before the game.

We had some AMAZING food, the best hamburger I have had in a LONG time. Drew and I at lunch, in our blue and ready to go...bad quality picture...cell phone pic!

Halloween is OVER! YAHOOOOOO!!!! :) Well, besides the MOUNTAINS of candy we now have. Holy smokes, I've never seen so much candy...they made a HAUL this year. Last round of pictures! I realized I didn't have a picture of SuperGirl by herself!

Tonight was our ward trunk-or-treat! It was so fun! First we had chili and rolls...well, the girls had corn dogs from Sonic and rolls! HA! My cute little Halloween kiddos...Supergirl, Little Tiger (he would NOT keep his Tiger hood on...hopefully I can get a pic Saturday with it on)...and A Barbie Witch!

This is Kaden pretty much the whole night....chowing down on my friend's rolls...she seriously makes the BEST! And Kaden certainly agreed!

This is cute little Izzie...every Tues. and Thurs, she gets to come hang out with me and Kaden...and Kaden just loves her...and she is so cute with him. I got her in the middle of chewing her roll....but I had to be quick, cause at this point, Kaden was just about DONE with being in the stroller.

These two girls are best of friends! They have so much fun together, they are in preschool together, dance, the same primary class....they just love each other!I actually dressed up this year too...but sad, didn't get any pictures...Drew wasn't able to make it to trunk-or-treat, so hopefully I will be able to get one Saturday of us all dressed up!!

Halloween, that is! Does anyone else feel that Halloween lasts ALL WEEK, rather than just ONE DAY?!? Oh well...the kids love it! Brooklyn had a preschool Halloween party today. She was so excited to get her cute Barbie witch costume on....especially the hat, she was most excited about that!

This guy...is 9 months! What?!? In just three short months he will be ONE! He is just so fun right now...exploring EVERYTHING & keeping us on our toes, he is so happy (when is isn't cutting FIVE teeth at once!) and we just love him to pieces. I brought out this toy for the first time and Kaden just loved it...he thought he was so big sitting all by himself!

He would not leave the little book on the toy alone...he wanted it to come off...bad! Look how focused he is on what he wants.

1st grade program!

Kylee had her first school program on Thursday. It was pretty cute! :) All 5 first grade classes put on 2 programs, all about Fall. They sang about 6 songs and watching about 100 first graders sing songs was quite entertaining. Anybody that knows my daughter, knows that she has no shy bone in her body. And she LOVES performing. So this was probably her perfect day! I can't believe my baby girl is old enough to be having school programs already!! Good job Kylee! We love you!

The second video cracks me up everytime I watch it. Kylee and her dad do the whole, "I'm watching you" eye thing...and so when he did it in the crowd to her....she totally did it back in front of everybody. And then because she knew she had some attention, she just kept it up through the rest of the song...funny girl!

So...I may be a little biased but...I have the BEST husband EVER! He was in WA all week for work and wasn't supposed to be home until today. Well, yesterday around 1, he called and told me to get a babysitter for the evening as he had a surprise for me! I LOVE when he does that. :) So, luckily, our FAVORITE babysitter was available, and Drew came home and off we went. We drove into Boise to the Taco Bell Arena....for the Brad Paisley concert! Wahoo!! Love concerts. We had great seats! Row C...perfect!

Darius Rucker (Hootie...from the used to be Hootie and the Blowfish) was his opening act and let me tell you...I just bought his cd from Amazon today cause he was so good! Love it!
Then it was Brad's turn. He is a pretty funny guy! Great Entertainer...great songs....it was so fun!

There was this little ramp on the side that he would walk down every once in a while, and they let people come right up and take pictures...it was pretty cool to be that close. And this guy is an AMAZING guitar player. Look how close I am! :) I swear that he changed guitars for every song...I have never seen a guy with so many guitars! Personally...I liked the blue sparkle one! :)

At one point, he walked off the stage, down the little ramp towards the back of the arena to another stage area. He literally walked so close to me that I could have reached out and touched him....had I not been afraid of what the security dude in black behind him would have done...scary! :)

All in all, it was a great evening, good music, no kiddos, GREAT company. Thanks babe for an awesome night!

Dancin' and Crawlin'

8 months. Are you kidding?!? How in the world is my little guy 8 months already? He has been crawling for a couple weeks...well, I guess it's more army crawlin', but, he definitely gets around! He is so funny...he loves to crawl for my entertainment center and push all the buttons or grab the dvd's...and when I tell him no, he looks at me, smiles his adorable little smile and crawls faster towards what he wants. Um...do you think I'm in for it with this guy?!

Kaden has started dancing whenever he hears music...it's pretty funny. He moves back and forth and thinks it is pretty fun. Can you tell that he LOVES his binky?! The funny thing is, he likes to suck on it upside down. Whenever he finds it himself, he will more than likely put it in upside down. I thought it was just a fluke when I came in one morning and found him in his crib with it in...but nope, 90% of the time...he has his binky in, upside down. Funny boy!! First Day of Pre-School!

Well today was Brooklyn's turn for school to start. She was so upset when Kylee started school and she still had to wait a couple weeks! Can you tell how excited she is that it was her turn!?

All ready to go! She was so excited, but she was kinda nervous too. She kept asking me where she was supposed to put her backpack and where her school box was. She was pretty cute, telling me every couple of minutes, mom, I'm gonna miss you, you gonna miss me? Sweet little Boo!

Just wanted to share some pictures of my little guy before church today! He looked pretty handsome in his church outfit and was being good for the camera! He looks so grown-up!! He is 7 1/2 months old!

This is Kaden's new expression he makes all the time. He scrunches up his face, and does this little snort out of his nose. It is pretty funny and he kinda cracks himself up with it!! And anyone else who sees it too!
Drew was out of town, so I had the girls try and take a picture of me and Kaden...they did a good job! :) We tried getting one of me, Kaden and then each of the girls took a turn, but they did NOT work out! I guess Kaden was DONE getting his picture taken! At least we tried!!

1st grade!

Another summer has come and gone and it's BACK TO SCHOOL!! Kylee started FIRST GRADE today. She was super excited. She couldn't sleep last night...and then was up bright and early this morning!! She just loves school. She loves to read, loves to spell and loves to write! I just hope it stays that way!! Here are a few pictures of my cute first grader!

So....Kylee has had two sets of top teeth for almost the whole summer. It has been driving me CrAzY. She had seen TWO dentists...and neither one of them said they would pull the teeth...they didn't want to give her a reason to hate the dentist. They weren't causing any harm to the permanent teeth...but seriously they were horrible to look at! Sick. Just take a look at the 2nd picture. See?!!? I love my Kylee...but seriously, that is just horrible.
She even called herself "Shark Girl" cause she had two sets of teeth like a shark. I am not okay with that! So...after weeks of wiggling, and twisting and bribing, and begging...she finally let me pull them. I didn't really have to do much, they were literally hanging there! After the first one was pulled she told me, "That wasn't too bad mom, get the other one out!" So I did! :)

Don't mind her red puffy eyes...we went swimming all day today and she likes to open her eyes under water. Silly shark girl! :)

Part of the bribing we tried was telling her she could pour a huge glass of water over her dad's head if she let us pull them. Well, the both of us thought it was a one time bribe, which was on Monday. But as soon as I pulled her teeth out tonight, the first thing she said was, now I get to pour water on dad's head!! So...being the good dad he is, he let her do it!

Since I pulled two teeth, she got to pour TWO cups of water on him! She thought it was hilarious!! I did too! :)

So my WONDERFUL husband got us tickets for the Tim McGraw concert for my birthday! YIIIPPPPEEEE!! The concert was last night and let me tell you.....Tim did not disappoint! It was amazing! We had the best seats...we were on row SIX! Lady Antebellum perfomed and Love & Theft was the pre-show. Both were amazing! I was in HEAVEN!!! :) We were so close, that by the time the concert was over, neither one of use could hear anything cause it was so loud in there...but it was definitely worth it! Lady Antebellum...they were AWESOME!

The girls got out some of their old toys today for Kaden...and his favorite of the ones we got out was this cute little bouncing tigger! We had a talking Blue's Clues and a dancing Elmo...but his favorite was TIGGER! You push on Tigger and he says tigger stuff and then does this little tigger bounce. Kaden thought it was hilarious.

He was a little obsessed with Tigger's nose...he kept pulling on it and then trying to bite it.
Don't mind his slobbery onesie...he is still cute! :)

He would just squeal and get so excited when Tigger bounced!
